Back

is simmering away. I took pain killers yesterday and lay flat for a while, got up to walk round every hour or so. Went to bed after DB rubbed some foul smelling stuff into my back.

Up just after 7am, more pain killers. I managed to drive into town ok and got a very nice chap at Aldi to lift my bags into the car for me. (DB was only just awake when I went out) At Morrison the chap at the next car in the car park did the honours.

DB was waiting for me at the gate when I got home. The shopping has been put away, more painkillers due shortly.

DB went out and finished painting the preservative on the shed. I told him if he fell again he would have to stay there, there is no way I can get him up, it would be a call to the ambulance. Fortunately he managed to stay upright whilst he had finished the side. He is inside now, the sun has burnt off the mist and its getting quite hot.

I have a hospital run tomorrow, so will not be taking any pain killers first thing, do not want to be 'done' for drug driving!!

Bacon , egg, tomato and fried bread tonight, all day breakfast without the beans.......I guess we will be eating raspberries and ice cream for dessert, oh no I forgot there is some lemon cheesecake left.

  1. Glad to hear you were able to get out for shopping today and had some help. Weather really is tedious now and I’m hardly outside. Machine ready to collect tomorrow with a bill of £89 which was it’s annual service and the needle retrieved! Take care.

  2. How nice that fellow shoppers helped you with your grocery bags and that you were able to get that done so you were back home in good time.

When a senior citizen falls and cannot get up, the police will send a couple of able-bodied officers to assist get the person up. There is no charge for this service. We had to call them once for FIL.

    Lemon cheesecake! Yum!

Hope you back settles down again soon. My back is talking to me most painfully, too. Bother.

    Hugs!

  3. Well, I hope you get better soon. When your back is out of whack everything is out of whack. Take it easy and don't overdo.

  4. As someone who suffers with chronic back pain, I know exactly what you are dealing with. Very nice of those who helped you with your shopping bags. I hope you get back to normal, soon.

    Grace & Peace,
    Pam
