A fine morning when we got up, so a quick walk first thiing, good job we did, it started to rain just after we got back.

A disturbed night again, seriously thinking about moving into the sewing room for a few nights, we were reading and drinking tea at 1am. I was very dopey when I got up and have been very tired all day.

DB ate all his supper last night, chicken and rice and two and a half pancakes.....tonight its sausage, jacket spud and beans. There are two custard tarts left for dessert.

Tomorrow I have to take DB to see about his cataract........

  1. Separate bedrooms is definitely the way to go!

Stretch out in the bed, read until ready to put the light off, whether awake or asleep not disturbing anybody else.

    Sheer bliss!

  2. I agree your sleep and rest are so important that the sewing room bed seems the ideal answer for a while. I've just finished reading "The Lord God Made Them All" by James Herriot and at the end of the book there is mention of taking a boring book to bed so the boredom of the book encourages sleep. For Herriot, it was "The Brothers Karamazov" and for his partner, it was a medical book about the structures of the eye. Is that kind of book worth a try?

We have a lovely sort of warm day with sunshine and the cats are blissful.

Wishing DB good news about the cataract.

Thank you for leaving your comment. I do read them all. I may choose not to publish them all however.
